The latest Micro Rollers ChampionChips series offered 888poker’s smaller-stakes players a tournament series of their very own, and it recently came to an end.

  • Players from Germany did the best capturing six titles.
  • Brazilians and UK players notching five each.

  • Two each went to Ireland and Kazakhstan,
  • The following countries each nabbed a single title – Argentina, Belarus, Mexico, Romania, and Latvia.

Throughout the series there were numerous starting flights for the $25 buy-in, $100K GTD Main Event, which wound up attracting 3,871 players who rebought 764 times.

The 4,635-entry field surpassed the guarantee by offering up a $104,310 prize pool. On Monday, 708 players returned for Day 2 action and to play down to the final table of eight.

The top bounty of $10,000 went to Brazil’s “Competencia”, who finished in 200th place for $54.31 and ended up with a tournament-high $10,061.99 in prize money.

Others to win big bounties were the following players –

  • “IHey4” (9th place for $499.65 plus $4,053.76 in bounties)
  • “corner130” (7th place for $896.11 plus $4,046.08 in bounties)
  • “Errorplayer” (15th place for $282.41 plus $2,065.28 in bounties)
  • “Blackdogpokr” (59th place for $103.18 plus $2,053.76 in bounties)
  • “gbdias” (12th place for $374.73 plus $2,038.40 in bounties).

The final table of eight players then went on an overnight hiatus before returning on Tuesday to play down to a winner on a live-streamed final table. A pair of Brazilians sat atop the counts in “blefador97” (17,863,455) and “Dadidgg” (13,831,870), while “Sofronis2609” out of Cyprus sat in third place (11,225,826).

The rest of the players were short stacked by comparison in Brazil’s “9saymon” (4,725,531), Argentina’s “YingYangZ” (2,826,932), Ukraine’s “Vozdushnii” (2,314,528), Romania’s “Ph4N888” (1,752,420), and Taiwan’s “corner130” (1,064,438).

The two chip leaders made deep runs but wound up bowing out in third and fourth place. But their fellow countryman “9saymon” made it to heads-up play against “YingYangZ”.

The Brazilian ultimately closed it out to win the tournament for $6,303.11, which along with $63.12 in bounties gave them a $6,372.23 payday.

Another tournament to take place on Sunday was the $55 buy-in Event #25: $40,000 Mystery Bounty High Roller, which attracted 555 players who rebought 188 times.

The 743-entry field meant the $40,000 prize pool was reserved for the top 144 finishers, and of course there was a top bounty of $4,000 up for grabs.

That wound up going to Romania’s “silviuprg”, who finished in 19th place for $102. Along with $117.06 in other bounties they walked away with $4,219.06 in prize money.

That was actually the third-highest score of the tournament as fourth-place finisher “icho90” was the big winner with $4,308.04 ($1,230 plus $3,078.04 in bounties). The tournament’s champion “balwasik_19” out of Belarus had the second-most money with $4,284.24 ($3,096 plus $1,188.24 in bounties).

Likewise, the $5.50 buy-in Event #11: $5,000 DeepStack Mini had 920 entries (670 players + 250 rebuys) and saw Ukraine’s “Nesamovytvj” win it all for $730.50.
